RESISTANCE TO OXIDATION and CORROSION Nickel Alloy 625 has a high level of chromium and molybdenum which provides a high level of pitting and crevice corrosion resistance to sea water, neutral salts and brines. Also the alloy is highly resistant to chloride stress-corrosion cracking and has excellent oxidation and scaling resistance at temperatures up to 1090°C (2000°F).
