SPECIFICATIONS Alloy 625 Nickel Alloy is covered by the following specifications: UNS N06625
RESISTANCE TO OXIDATION and CORROSION Nickel Alloy 625 has a high level of chromium and molybdenum which provides a high level of pitting and crevice corrosion resistance to sea water, neutral salts and brines. Alloy 625 is highly resistant to chloride stress-corrosion cracking and has excellent oxidation and scaling resistance at temperatures up to 1090°C (2000°F).
APPLICATIONS Alloy 625 is used in chemical processing, aerospace and marine engineering, pollution control equipment and nuclear reactors.
