Bars: Ø 3.00-19mm: cold drawn, ground and polished

Bar Lengths: 2m (3m) Surface finish N5-N6

Tolerance to:

Diameter : ISO h9 and h8

Out of Roundness/ eccentricity: 1/2 the diam. tolerance.

Tolerance in length: +/-30mm

Heat treatment

Hardening :830-870 ºC quenching in oil

:800-830 ºC quenching in water

:730-760 ºC soft annealing

:870-900 ºC normalising

Obtainable Hardness 58-66 HRC

Standard Stock Sizes:

Ø 1-40mm with steps of sometimes 0.50mm special sizes and narrow tolerances available on request

Cutting rate

25-40m/min (approximate value, depending on the lubrication oil, the cutting tools, and shape of parts.)
