Chronifer Labor M-13 material is Manufactured in Rod, Bar and coil AISI 420F ~ Stainless Steel
Material Properties This product is a compromise between good machinability (S-Content), high wear resistance (Cr-content) and possibility for hardening (C-Content. Chronifer Labor M 13 resists to corrosion after tempering and a forced polishing of the parts.
Availability Coils: cold drawn and polished, 10-35kg/coil Bars: 0-1.99 mm: cold drawn and polished Bars: 2.00-40mm: cold drawn, ground and polished Bars length: 2m or 3m surface roughness N5-N6
Standard Tolerances Diameter: ISO h8 (Ø 3-10mm h7) Length of bars: +/- 30mm Out of Roundness/eccentricity: 1/2 of diameter
Heat Treatment Soft annealing: 750-800C slow furnace cooling (2-4 hours) Hardening: 1000-1050 C Max obtainable hardness 55 HRC
Cutting Rate 40-55 m/min (approximate value, depending on the lubrication, the cutting tools, the shape of parts) |
