Chronifer M-4057 material is Manufactured in Rod, Bar and coil AISI 431 Stainless Steel without Sulphur
Material Properties AISI 431 has a better corrosion resistance (after hardening and polishing of the parts) then the 420 or 420F because of low carbon and sulfur content, plus so percentage of Nickel and Molybdenum.
Availability Bars: cold drawn, ground and polished Bars Length: 3m surface roughness N5-N6

Heat Treatment Hardening: 950-1050 C Soft annealing: 600-800C Max obtainable hardness 47 HRC
Cutting rate 20-30 m/min (approximate value, depending on the lubrication, the cutting tools, the shape of parts)
Stock Range: Ø 3.00-8.00 mm round full material in stock, other dimensions on request |
